In case you haven't heard, someone sent in the clowns, and boy have they caused some mayhem. Across the country and even right here in our backyard, creepy, and down right disruptive clowns have been spotted creating a bad name for all clowns. And to that, we have a few words we'd like to say to them.

Dear creepy clowns,

Did Halloween start early this year? I don’t think we got that memo.

You started appearing back in August in South Carolina, and you guys sure got our attention. I love Halloween as much as the next person, but August is a little early, don’t you think? How did your face makeup not melt off in the South Carolina heat? Oh right, you only carried out your disturbing clown shenanigans at night. (To preserve the makeup, I get it) Wait, do you wear masks or makeup? Can you even breathe in those masks?

Well clowns, do you mind if I call you clown? I’m not sure if you guys actually have names. I hate to be the one to tell you guys this but not many people really like clowns... especially when you stand in the woods or chase little kids with knives. This is not the way to make friends. I think it's time to wash that makeup off, stop clowning around, and stick to making balloon animals.

Don't worry, we’ll help fund with that facial I’m sure you desperately need, and maybe get you back on a nighttime sleep schedule.

Thanks for listening,

Sincerely concerned/confused South Jersey citizens
