The statistics don't lie and definitely don't feel good to hear...22 Veterans take their lives due to PTSD every day. But, thanks to Donnie Davis and the folks who are a part of Operation Safe Haven, they're doing all they can to change that.

Amazing Grace Ministries has purchased 277 acres which includes a 65 acre lake and campground in Franklinville. Their goal with this, is to fix up the property and build micro housing units for veterans to stay in and provide them with a place of true rest and relaxation. Once the project is finished, our veterans can focus on themselves and reestablishing a normal lifestyle through various programs and projects designed to give them the tools needed to adapt and overcome.

The property has sat vacant for almost a decade and definitely needs some work. But the desire for the Operation Safe Haven project is to provide this service to our vets at no cost, so they need your help!

Dam repairs, fixing up the property, campground and construction of the micro houses is not cheap. So their goal is to raise $500,000 to get this project up and running. As we come close to the one-year-anniversary of initiating this project, together, we have been able to raise over $120,000 and over 5.5K shares on social media to help spread the word!

As of three days ago, Tom Frank and Frank Enterprises in Franklin Township donated a backhoe so the site can be prepped for the first two micro houses scheduled for delivery this week!

It's all finally starting to come together, just like us, who can leave a legacy and change the lives of our vets forever!
