State Championship Basketball Game Won on Last Second Half-Court Shot [VIDEO]
It's not over `til the final buzzer sounds. It's not over `til the fat lady sings. It's ain't over `til it's over.
A high school basketball player from New York's Mt. Vernon high school is going to be remembering some of the phrases for quite some time.
In a state championship game, the player stole a last second half-court pass, and threw the ball into the air, probably thinking that time would expire. Nope. There was still enough time left for a New Rochelle player to grab the ball and throw a long shot to the opposing basket.
The shot was originally waved off, but later called "good."
A game winner!
