Students are Making Waves in South Jersey
Make A Wave Inc. is a non-profit organization based out of New Jersey and PA that collects toys, books, sports equipment and clothing for children in foster care.
Alisa Verratti from South Jersey, among several other students from Saint Joseph's University, started MAWI as a club on campus. But after gaining such a large following, the team decided that they wanted to expand their outreach and impact for children in such need.
And so; Make A Wave Inc. was born! April of 2017, the group incorporated Make A Wave with a goal to change the lives of as many children and families as they can, by providing them with resources that they need but may not have.
With your help, this group of young and selfless achievers plan to give these kids a childhood full of hope and achievement.
