Police say a child abducted in Virginia who they believe is "in extreme danger" could be headed to South Jersey.

UPDATE: According to Virginia State Police the child has been safely located.

Virginia State Police issued an Amber Alert for 4-year-old Annabelle Doretha Hope Richardson Monday night.

They say she was last seen with 24-year-old Dylan James Richardson at 400 Thomas Jefferson Highway in Charlotte, Virginia.

He is described by The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as her non-custodial father.

Here is the Virginia State Police Facebook post concerning this amber alert:

A Facebook page for a Dylan Richardson shows he is from Williamstown and posted on Sunday,  “My daughter is not missing this is bs how can you kidnap your own child this Facebook stuff has gotten way out of hand I’m filling for custody Monday morning so we will see everybody needs to get off my case I’m not hiding and I will see everybody that has something to say come Monday I did what was in the best interest of my daughter.”

There’s also other posts including, “Be patient. It won’t happen overnight. Just hang in there and have faith that it will work out” and “you’ll end up real disappointed when you go through life thinking people have the same heart as you.”

Virginia State Police said anyone with information about Annabelle’s whereabouts should call 800-822-4453.
