Heads-up if your travels will be taking you through Hammonton. The Hammonton Police Department is conducting an enforcement campaign for pedestrian crosswalks. Failure to stop and yield for pedestrians in crosswalks can result in a fine of up to $500, community service, jail time, license suspension, and two points on your driving record.

A small plane crashed when landing and caught fire around noon Friday at Hammonton Municipal Airport. KYW-TV is reporting a twin engine plane with two occupants crashed upon landing and caught on fire. No injuries have been reported.
