Teen Shoots at Pennsauken Police, Misses
New Jersey authorities say a wanted teenager they were observing opened fire on two police cars but missed both the vehicles and the officers.
Police tell The Courier-Post of Cherry Hill officers in two cars were watching the 17-year-old's home in Pennsauken Tuesday evening when he fired four shots before running off.
He was caught in nearby Camden, where authorities say they also recovered a .45-caliber handgun.
The teen is charged with criminal attempted murder, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and weapons offenses.
Police say he is a suspect in some neighborhood robberies and they are trying to determine whether he had a role in a string of convenience store robberies.
Authorities have not released the boy's name because of his age.
