A pair of teenagers are in trouble with the law after cops say they were caught on camera assaulting a man in Atlantic City Monday night.

According to cops in Atlantic City, surveillance center personnel monitoring cameras on the Boardwalk observed two males, one 15 and the other 16-years-old, in the beach block of Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard just after 9:30 Monday night. Authorities say the 15-year-old removed a handgun, later determined to be a replica, from his backpack and gave it to the 16-year-old. Both teens chased a 29-year-old man from Pleasantville man who was walking down the street and began to kick and punch him to the ground.

Both teens fled on to the boardwalk where surveillance personnel continued to monitor them until cops arrived and took them into custody.

The victim was transported to ARMC-City for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Both teens were charged with simple assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The 16-year-old was also charged with aggravated assault. Both were released to their parents.
