If you've been watching The Next Iron Chef series on Food Network, don't read any further...

If you're a foodie like me, chances are you've been watching Food Network's search for the next Iron Chef -- it's one of the network's highest-rated programs at the moment. However, every once and a while, Food Network shoots itself in the foot and accidentally releases pictures or information that gives away the results of their competition programs.

The next episode of The Next Iron Chef pits Geoffrey Zakarian against Elizabeth Falkner - the winner becomes the next iron chef. With that in mind, TV Guide has this information on their website for "Next Iron Chef Winner 4 vs. Cassanova - Iron Chef America"...

The Season 4 winner of "Next Iron Chef" makes his "Iron Chef America" debut in a battle against Victor Casanova, executive chef at Culina, an Italian restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Judges are Karine Bakhoum, Art Smith and Jill Zarin.

Does TV Guide's use of the word "his" indicate that Geoffrey Zakarian wins The Next Iron Chef or is it just a generic use of a pronoun?

To counter that story, it's been reported that Elizabeth Falkner's two bake shops are closing, leading many people to believe that the added responsibilities of a TV show would be too much to handle, but almost all stories say its because of the sluggish economy and not because she has to frequently appear on Iron Chef.

We shall see...
