The Super Bowl, By The Numbers
I had to Google it… It’s Super Bowl 46. Which is Super Bowl XLVI – the X before the L means 10 minus 50 which equals 40. The I after the V means 5 plus 1 which equals 6. Hence, Super Bowl 46.
Now the numbers that really matter –
111 million – The record-breaking number of viewers last year, according to Nielsen.
$11 billion – How much Americans are expected to spend on Super Bowl goodies.
2 million – The number of pizzas Pizza Hut will serve on Sunday.
100 million – Pounds of chicken wings Americans will eat while watching the game.
1,200 – Average number of calories one will consume during the Big Game.
7 million – The number of people who will “call in sick” to work on the Monday after the game!!
