Should the rest of us in the Garden State take this personally?

A poll recently conducted by Reader's Digest determined that the nicest people in New Jersey live in West Orange.

Some residents and business owners tell NJ.com that small community, diversity and great neighbors might be responsible for West Orange's #1 ranking.

W. Orange, home to just under 44,000 people, also boasts being home to notable figures like inventor Thomas Edison and songwriter Carole King.

By the way, Nazareth came in tops for Pennsylvania, and Dover was ranked the nicest town in Delaware.
