Thomas Rhett has just kicked off his Home Team Tour, and he made the opening night special by inviting his opening acts to join him onstage to cover Bruno Mars' current hit, "24K Magic."

The Home Team Tour is Rhett's first-ever full headlining tour, and he drafted Kelsea Ballerini, Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd to open for him on the trek, which kicked off Feb. 23 in Saginaw, Mich. In the fan-shot video above, Rhett takes the first verse of Mars' hit, while Dickerson takes the second, and Ballerini and Hurd jump in on the choruses.

Fans already knew Rhett is a huge fan of Mars. He began covering "Uptown Funk" live in 2015, and he also recorded a cover of "When I Was Your Man" later that same year.

“I’m obsessed with Bruno Mars’ records,” Rhett admits to Rolling Stone Country. “I’d give my right leg to be able to sing like that dude.”

The Home Team Tour is set to continue through the summer and will include Rhett performing a headlining slot at Country Jam 2017 in Colorado in June.

Rhett will be juggling that workload with a very busy home life. He and his wife Lauren recently announced they are not only expecting a child, they are adopting another from Africa. They turned to social media to reveal that the biological child they are expecting is a girl.
