Three men are facing drug-related charges and nearly 300 bags of heroin were taken off the streets of Atlantic City following a traffic stop this past Friday afternoon.

Around 6PM Friday, two Atlantic City police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the 1800 block of McKinley Avenue. An investigation led by the officers resulted in the arrest of three people in the car and the recovery of a large amount of narcotics, including 297 individual bags of heroin and approximately 16.5 grams of cocaine.

31-year-old Michael Buckman of Hammonton, who was driving the car, is facing numerous charges, including two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine and heroin), two counts of possession with the intent to distribute, two counts possession with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school. Buckman was also found to have two open wanted warrants for his arrest. 31-year-old Tyrone Nelson from Atlantic City and 23-year-old Abdul Allah of Woodbridge, VA, are also facing various drug-related charges.
