A blaze broke out around in the early hours of Saturday morning at a stretch of town homes in Brigantine, leaving firefighters scrambling to get the flames under control.

The fire sparked on the 4100 block of Brigantine Boulevard in the midst of blizzard conditions brought on by Winter Storm Jonas. By the time firefighter arrived the second floor of the three story units was engulfed.

Fire spread to several other nearby town houses.

Authorities have no details yet regarding injuries or the cause of the fire.
