Two Arrested for Robbing an Absecon Gas Station Three Times in a Month

Absecon Police have arrested two people who they say burglarized the same gas station three times in August.

Officers say the Sunoco Gas Station and Mini-Mart on the White Horse Pike in Absecon was robbed on August 2nd, 8th, and 24th. In all three burglaries, forced entry was made into the business and cash and large amounts of tobacco products were stolen.

Surveillance video and evidence recovered at the scene resulted in the suspects being identified. On Monday, officers arrested Jack Kalman and Arthur Schellinger, both of Absecon. Both are now facing numerous charges, including burglary, conspiracy, and theft.
