UPDATE: Atlantic City Beach Concerts

I would have thought the lineups for this summer's Atlantic City Beach Concerts would have been revealed by now.

Nope.

We keep hearing "soon."

If I knew I'd tell you. Unless I was sworn to secrecy.

I haven't been sworn to secrecy. I really don't know.

I do have some half-educated guesses - but, that's all they are: guesses. I've looked though some of country music's biggest stars' tour schedules to see if a stop in Atlantic City would make sense. Nothing.

Last year, Lady Antebellum's tour schedule didn't make sense, but they were here. The day before, they were on the west coast!

Not knowing who's coming hasn't been for a lack of trying on my part. I've asked representatives of the Atlantic City group putting the shows together for some "inside information", but with no luck.

Information that I have been able to obtain is that the shows will not happen in July. Since June is almost half over, I'm assuming that means August....or, September? I've also been told that the two concerts won't necessarily be in the same week, like Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum were last year.

I have heard rumors, probably just like you. These have included that only one of the concerts will be "country" and one show or the other may not be free.
