A deadly batch of heroin has hit the streets causing a number of overdoses, including possibly one death.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office issued a warning late Friday, concerning a batch of heroin being bought and sold in the area with the stamp, "1 Stop."

There were at least five overdoses in Atlantic County Friday, with one death likely linked to the heroin. The overdoses reportedly occurred spread throughout the county, including in Atlantic City, and on the mainland.

According to the press release, the warning was issues to save lives. If you have information that may help the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office locate the source of this heroin and prevent further overdose victims, you're urged to call 609-909-7666.
