Back in November of 2017, the NHL announced that the Flyers and Penguins would be taking part in the Stadium Series during the 2018-19 season.

According to Wikipedia, the Stadium Series is one of three annual outdoor events that the NHL does each season.  The NHL Winter Classic is played on New Year's Day and the NHL Heritage Classic is played in Canada.  Next Saturday will be the 9th game in the Stadium Series, which started in 2014.  Two years ago, the Flyers and Penguins took part in the series in a game played at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
