Motley Crue recently announced that they will be retiring after a hard-rocking life on the road that stretched more than 30 years and probably kept Aqua Net in business throughout the 80s and 90s.

Along with the news of the retirement, the band also shared with fans that they will head out on one final tour.

So why might your average country fan care? Well, Big Machine Records announced that it will release a country tribute album to the Crue. Some of country music's biggest stars including Brantley Gilbert, Florida Georgia Line, Eli Young Band, Justin Moore, and Cassadee Pope will all be featured on the album covering some of Motley Crue's biggest hits.

According to, Great American CountryLeAnn Rimes, who is currently not signed to a record label, will also be a part of the project. Big Machine CEO Scott Borchetta is excited about her participating in the project, telling Billboard she “has a great idea for one of their biggest hits. It will shock people."

The album will aslo have artists not associated with Big Machine and will include several collaborations and no word on a release date.
