Woman Struck By Train in Absecon

Absecon Police are investigating a woman being hit by a train at the Absecon train station.

Just before 1pm Sunday, police found a 52-year-old woman under the platform at the station. It's being called an attempted suicide attempt, as the woman was seen walking along the tracks and jumping in front of the train.

The unidentified woman was injured, and was taken to the AtlanticCare Hospital in Atlantic City.
