State Troopers and the Ocean City Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying a female body that was found in the ocean off of Ocean City Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday afternoon, police responded to the 57th Street beach in Ocean City after a body of an white female was found in the water.

Officers say there were no signs of trauma. She was wearing a purple shirt and blue jeans. She has a tattoo on her right shoulder of a heart with the name "Patrick" and an unknown second name. She also has a tattoo on her right forearm of angel wings with the name "Steven" with the dates of 12-87 and 7-88. She appeared to be between 35-50 years of age.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Jersey State Police Atlantic City Marine Station at 441-3586 or the Ocean City Police Department 399-9111.
