For the ninth day in a row, officials in Atlantic County reported no new deaths from COVID-19.

And a relatively low number of new positive cases were reported on Monday -- only 18 between nine men (ages 6 to 83) and nine women (ages 2 months to 83 years).

Officials, however, were quick to point-out that labs throughout the state are experiencing delays in reporting results due to a high volume of testing.

84 more residents have also been cleared as recovered, for a total of 2,141 of the 3,674 residents who have tested positive since March. COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 241 people in Atlantic County.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing at the public works complex on Route 9 in Northfield every Tuesday this month from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Testing is available for both symptomatic and asymptomatic county residents with or without a doctor’s prescription. To make an appointment and for more information, visit the county's website.
