***UPDATE*** There was supposed to be a rocket launch last night that would've been visible in our Jersey skies, however it's been postponed until tonight!

NASA will launch the Cygnus cargo rocket off of the coast of Virginia Monday night.

According to NJ.com,

New Jersey viewers should look south-southwest to see what will look like a bright, moving star the report said. It's actually kerosene and liquid oxygen.

The rocket will launch no earlier than 7:40pm, according to NJ.com.

Keep yours eyes to the skies tonight!
