A.C. Man Indicted in Connection to 2018 Drug-induced Death of EHT Woman
An Atlantic County grand jury has returned an indictment against 28-year-old Kevin Green of Atlantic City in connection to the October, 2018, fatal overdose of a 25-year-old Egg Harbor Township woman.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner says Green was indicted Tuesday on first-degree strict liability for drug-induced death, third-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, third-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone, and third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
These charges are related to the death of Samantha Moore on October 27, 2018. Authorities say Moore died in Egg Harbor Township as a result of fentanyl toxicity.
An investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Drug Related Death Unit revealed that Moore purchased the fentanyl from Kevin Green in Atlantic City on the day she died.
Green was taken into custody when he arrested on September 3rd in Absecon on an unrelated matter.
Green remains is lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
