America’s Got Talent Finalist Once Played Cat Country Backyard BBQ [VIDEOS]

Over the years, we've had several dozen artists play at our Cat Country Backyard BBQs. Turns out, one of the performers currently competing on "America's Got Talent" was actually one of our Backyard BBQ performers.

Several years ago, Emily West was recording on Capital Nashville Records, and had a small hit with her song "Rocks in My Shoes." We brought Emily to a winner's house in Galloway (or was it Smithville?).

I remember Emily being very personable, charming and funny. Watch the video from her Backyard BBQ performance under the AGT video.

Let's hope "America's Got Talent" gives her career a big boost.
