An Atlantic City man was arrested after crashing into two parked cars and attempting to leave the scene, according to police.

The ACPD says on Thursday evening, officers responded to the 3300 block of Fairmount Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Officers arrived to find three cars that were involved in a crash, two of which were parked and unoccupied.

According to a press release, witnesses reported the driver of the vehicle that crashed was attempting to leave the area. Officers were able to stop 26-year-old Johsian Cruz of Atlantic City nearby. Cruz was arrested after it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.

Cruz was charged with multiple motor vehicle summons, including DWI, and released on a summons with a future court date.
