Atlantic City May Place Cameras on Cops
NEW JERSEY 101.5
Officials are considering whether to place cameras on Atlantic City police officers.
Police Chief Ernest Jubilee tells The Press of Atlantic City he believes the cameras would give the public an added level of confidence.
The K-9 unit would be the first to use the cameras if the chief can buy them next year.
The city is facing a police brutality lawsuit that included the release of a video showing a 20-year-old Linwood man being beaten by officers and bitten by a police dog.
