Middle Township Police had their hands full Monday after struggling to arrest a person described as "combative" against officers.

Cops say they received a 9-1-1 call reporting a disorderly person on Tally Ho Road in the Cape May Court House section of Middle Township Monday. When they arrived, they found 21-year-old Ginelryan Jean smashing items in the house.

Jean, disregarding officer’s commands, became aggressive towards the officers and physically bent handcuffs while he was being placed under arrest. Officers used a taser on Jean, which failed to stop him. Jean was finally subdued and shackled upon the arrival of additional officers. He was charged with Aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
