The man wanted for murdering his estranged wife in her Laurel Lake, Cumberland County home on Dec. 19 was captured Monday afternoon behind a pizza shop in Folsom.

The New Jersey State Police tweeted at 6:30pm Monday about the apprehension of Jeremiah Monell,32,  who was wanted for the murder of his estranged wife, Tara O'Shea-Watson.

According to CBS Philly,  Monell was taken into custody around 3:30 pm. in the woods behind Angelo’s Pizza Shop on Route 54 in Folsom.

At 8:05 a.m. Dec. 19, troopers responded to a private residence on Raymond Drive for the report of a deceased woman. Upon arrival, troopers discovered the woman unconscious and unresponsive.

A preliminary investigation has determined that  Monell, from Cedarville, N.J. killed his estranged wife. Police had found Monell’s truck the next afternoon in Cedarville, but he had remained on the loose during a two-week manhunt.
