The Blue Man Group is known for its outrageous musical performances, that use everything from paint cans to PVC pipes to create rhythmic music that gets the audience pumped up.
Over the years they've become one of the most recognizable performing groups on the planet and the "band" consists of 70 different performers that can be seen in 25 countries around the world.
That being said, the Blue Man Group's reign in New York City is coming to a close.
The Blue Man Group Is Ending Their Run Of Shows In New York
The numbers are staggering, over the past 30 years, the Blue Man Group has performed more than 17,000 shows in New York.
The Guardian reports that the group will have its final New York performance this weekend on Febuary 2nd, and that will conclude the Blue Man Group in New York.
There was no word on why the show was coming to a close in New York, but the Blue Man Group will still live on.
The Guardian reports that the Blue Man Group will carry on in cities like Las Vegas, Boston, and even in Berlin.
The Blue Man Group brand was purchased by Cirque Du Soleil in 2017, and although they won't be just a hop and skip up the Parkway anymore, it doesn't mean you can't see them in another major US city in the upcoming year.
