You also never know what you'll run into when you're spending time at the Jersey Shore. Again, Bird and Betty's in Beach Haven is making headlines this week after they had another surprise guest, although this time, it wasn't a celebrity... in fact, it wasn't even human!
Last week, when Hurricane Erin was causing all sorts of flooding issues around the Jersey Shore, a very unlikely customer swam into Bird and Betty's, the popular bayfront bar and nightclub in Beach Haven.
How The Shark Got Into Bird And Bettys, And What Happened Next
That's right, a baby sand shark was spotted swimming around the parking lot, and the front entrance of Bird and Betty's!
According to NJ.com, surges from the storm flooded the parking lot enough that this little shark was able to swim around for a few hours before the waters started to recede.
Eventually, staffers were able to get the shark back to the safety of the bay, letting the little guy swim off, but it's still amazing!
