Cape May Park & Zoo in Cape May Court House got a spotlight of free national attention for finishing as the third-best free attraction in America in USA Today's 2024 10Best Readers' Choice voting.
The Zoo is the second local South Jersey attraction to get good voting grades with the public in the nationwide contest: Margate's Lucy the Elephant won the Best Roadside Attraction earlier this year.
Cape May Zoo Ranks as a National Top Three Free Attraction
Cape May Park & Zoo was voted third-best of the top 10 free attractions in the U.S. — selected by a panel of travel experts and voted by readers of USA Today as the best.

At Cape May County Park and Zoo, you can check out your favorite animals including giraffes, zebras, lemurs, and many more. Check out the zoo's calendar for a full schedule of year-round events to enhance your visit. Both admission and parking are free.
