Spirit Air Introduces ‘Go’ Bundle Amenity & Pricing Options

Discount carrier Spirit Airlines, one of the two airlines providing service at Atlantic City International Airport, is expanding its pricing options.

Beginning August 27, 2024, you will be able to choose from four levels of service and amenities when you fly Spirit, and booking for the "Go" bundles begins August 16

Spirit Airlines Makes Pricing More Transparent

Some travelers are cost-conscious and to them, price is everything. They like Spirit Air's discount rates and they don't mind flying bare bones for the lowest fare.

Those passengers will be happy to hear they can continue to travel that way on Spirit.

But Spirit is changing how passengers will book tickets.

Instead of the existing process where you buy tickets and pay for extras like baggage fees and seat selection fees, the idea is that you would choose upfront which bundle fits your needs.

Spirit thinks that these bundled packages will make pricing more transparent. The bundles offer an expanding amount of amenities for higher ticket prices.

Spirit's New 'Go Bundles'

Go: You'll a ticket with no extra amenities. For additional fees, you can add checked bags, standard seat selection, wifi, snacks and beverages.

Go Savvy: You get a choice of one carry-on bag or a checked bag, and standard seat selection during booking.

Go Comfy: You will get a guaranteed blocked middle seat, one carry-on bag, one checked bag, priority boarding, and a snack and non-alcoholic beverage.

Go Big: You'll get a Big Front Seat, snacks and drinks -- including alcoholic drinks -- one carry-on bag, one checked bag, priority check-in, and wifi access.

A Big Front Seat features wider seats, more legroom, additional cushioning, and no middle seat.

Which will you choose?  Some options begin on August 27th, but bookings start on August 16th.
