Dooney’s Pub replacing Tilton Inn in EHT, NJ
The rumors are true.
As we speculated about back on July 26, the Tilton Inn in Egg Harbor Township will now be an Irish Pub called Dooney’s Pub, which also has locations in Delran and Voorhees.
I have heard from multiple sources that a new Irish Pub will be moving into the building, and I have gotten confirmation that the new buyer will keep operating the property as a restaurant.
The site at 6823 Tilton Road in Egg Harbor Township has been purchased by the Dooney’s Pub family end of an amazing 60-year run for The Tilton. It will be operated as a restaurant serving the Mainland, EHT communities and more.
The Tilton's final day was April 27th with 1,000's of locals surprised and saddened to see it go away so suddenly. Adding another restaurant and spot for locals to hang out will be a big boost to the community.
Here is a look at what you can expect from Dooney's Pub, with both their food menu and beer menu and some of the events they run at their Delran location.
It looks like it will be a great place to watch the Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, Eagles, NFL and college football games this season. They do comedy nights in Delran and have nightly specials throughout the week.
We will continue to look for an opening date and look forward to Dooney's Pub becoming a fixture to the area, and wish them well!
