2 killed in ATV-motorcycle crash in Vineland, NJ
Two people are dead following an accident between an ATV and a motorcycle in Vineland over the weekend.
The Vineland Police Department says at about 10:30 Saturday night, August 24th, their officers were called to the area of Panther Road and Rita Avenue for a crash between a 2023 Honda CBR 1000 and a 2005 Yamaha ATV.
According to authorities, a preliminary investigation revealed 31-year-old Vincent P. Hogan, Jr., of Vineland, was driving a motorcycle southbound on Panther Road when it struck the ATV being operated by 26-year-old Daniel Teapila-Portillo, also of Vineland, who was also headed southbound on Panther.
As a result of a rear-end collision, both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
