‘Clean-cut’ man tried breaking into houses around lunchtime in Brigantine, NJ
Authorities in Brigantine are asking those on the island to keep an eye out for a man who was trying to break into houses this past Thursday afternoon.
The Brigantine Police Department reports at about 1:00, they received a call about a man in the area of the 2800 block of Bayshore Avenue who was "said to be utilizing a crowbar to attempt to get into the residences."
Police say the suspect was described as follows:
- Tall, slender white male
- Clean-cut appearance
- Grey-hooded sweatshirt
- Tan pants
Police responded to the area and were unable to locate the suspect.
An investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
