Cops investigating domestic murder-suicide in Vineland, NJ
Authorities in Cumberland County are investigating an apparent domestic murder-suicide.
The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office says that just after 6:00 Monday evening, August 26th, officers with the Vineland Police Department were called to a home on Roosevelt Blvd. for reports of shots fired.
At the scene, cops found a 21-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man both suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were airlifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden and later pronounced dead.
Authorities say an initial investigation, which is subject to autopsy results, revealed that the woman was shot by the man and then the man shot himself. The two were not married but were previously in a relationship.
The names of the victims in this case are being withheld due to privacy prohibitions in domestic violence matters.
