Lindenwold man charged for fatal shooting in Camden, NJ
A Lindenwold man has been arrested and charged in connection to a fatal shooting in Camden back in June.
According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, on the night of Friday, June 28th, officers with the Camden County Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation for gunfire in the area of the 1000 block of Liberty Street in Camden.
At the scene, cops found 43-year-old Donald Green of Camden, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
Authorities say on July 26th, 32-year-old Allan Watson of Camden was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Following an investigation, on July 29th, Watson was arrested in Westville by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
