Captain Jack Ciattarelli returned home from deployment in the Middle East, just in time to support his Father, Jack Ciattarelli.

There was not a dry eye in Murph's Tavern, located in Totowa, New Jersey.

Tavern owner Peter Murphy made the announcement … which caught Jack Ciattarelli by total surprise.

Murphy is a longtime Ciattarelli friend and the Chairman of the Passaic County Republican Party.

The day before Election Day is the time whereby the candidate is literally exhausted. The rigors of daily campaigning all over the state for months has taken its toll.

A surprise visit like this provides high octane fuel, just when you needed it the most.

Truly surprised. I didn't have a clue. Didn't have a clue. Magnificent thrill!  They picked up Jake. If I know the young man, he'll probably be on a plane this afternoon back to Kuwait to defend our country." said Jack Ciattarelli.
