Mystery Drone Sightings in New Jersey Are Under FBI Investigation

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating a series of unusual drone sightings in New Jersey.

The drone activity has been occurring with regularity during the late-night hours.

NBC New York is the first media outlet to report about these odd sightings, that are reportedly causing unease amongst New Jersey residents who (some) believe that this is a case of UFOs.

In the NBC News New York reporting, they have spoken with New Jersey residents who said:

”We’ve been seeing them every night, except Thanksgiving. I guess they took the night off,” said Mike Walsh.

Walsh first noticed the drones in the late night hours in mid November. He said the sightings of now become “commonplace.”

Social media is filled with rampant speculation … from UFOs to deliberate government surveillance.

”People Think there are UFOs, or we’re being spied on, “said Erica Campbell to NBC News New York.

Alexis Calle is wondering what is the purpose of the drones? “What are they looking for?“ said Calle.

This issue has caused such alarm that law enforcement Felt the need to release a joint statement along with county prosecutors as follows:

“There is no known threat to the public safety. This joint statement is being issued in response to rumors about the drone activity spreading on social media. We encourage the public to be mindful that what they read online may not be accurate.”

The FBI formally confirmed its involvement in this matter yesterday.

The FBI is working in collaboration with local law-enforcement regarding the situation.

Law-enforcement has confirmed to the public that it continues to monitor the situation.
