Local Man Found Shot to Death in Pleasantville

Police in Pleasantville responded to a 911 call about a shooting on Tremont Avenue just before 3am Sunday.

On arrival at the scene, police found the body of Sultan Veney, 36, of Atlantic City. Veney was pronounced dead at the scene, with a gunshot wound to the heart.

According to Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McLain, the shooting remains under investigation.
