Massive Police, Fire Presence in Pleasantville — for an 8-year-old
An 8-year-old boy in Pleasantville had a birthday he'll never forget Thursday afternoon.
Think back to your eighth birthday. You probably had some friends and relatives over your house, you enjoyed cake after an off-key performance of "Happy Birthday," maybe you played some games -- you know, the typical stuff.
What happened today in Pleasantville was anything buy typical as sirens from both police cars and fire trucks announced to the entire city that a boy was turning eight.
We counted nearly half-a-dozen cop cars, at least one fire truck, and other city vehicles all with their lights flashing and sirens blaring.
The Pleasantville Police Department said on their Facebook page, "Made this Lil Guys 8th Birthday a day to remember. Sergeant Ryan VanSyckle and Squad 2 made it happen. Have an amazing day...."
And from the looks of the video, he'll be sporting some new wears from the Pleasantville PD, too...
Happy birthday from all of us here at Townsquare Media!
