Three people were treated for minor injures after two cars crashed head-on in Egg Harbor Township late Sunday night.

EHT Police say they responded to the report of a crash around 11:00 Sunday night on Delilah Road at the Airport Circle Wawa.

They say a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, being driven by 31-year-old Braulio Nieves of EHT, was traveling westbound on Delilah Road when his vehicle hit a 2013 Acura, which was traveling east on Delilah Road and making a left turn into the Wawa parking lot. The Acura, being driven by 57-year-old Sheila Goodson of EHT, was attempting to make a left turn into the Wawa parking lot entrance on Delilah Road, failing to yield the right of way to Mr. Nieves’ vehicle.

Nieves sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. Goodson was treated at the scene by EMS crews and taken to ARMC-City for treatment, as was a juvenile passenger in her car.

Goodson was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, and driving an unregistered vehicle. Additional criminal charges are pending further investigation.
