We've got more details about the movie starring 'Star Wars' Mark Hamill filming in  Vineland and Millville.

The movie is scheduled to begin shooting early next week, with several sites reportedly being considered, including Vineland’s Palace of Depression and Giampietro Park, and  a number of sites around Millville near the Maurice River.

According to the Daily Journal of Vineland, the movie called 'The Retaliators", will star Mark Hamill, Sean Astin and the heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch. Astin, made his movie debut as a child actor in “Goonies,” and is best known for portraying the title character in the 1993 sports film "Rudy".

Kaycee Selkovsky, a representative The South Jersey Film Alliance, told the Daily Journal of Vineland the plot of the movie involves a man who tries to help people find justice by capturing a suspected criminal.

Vineland’s Palace of Depression, also known as the "House of Junk", is known by  locals as a strange, possibly haunted building designed by an eccentric gold miner who lost his fortune in the Crash of 1929. The Palace seems like a good place to shoot a movie starring a band called Five Finger Death Punch!

Here's a possible buzz kill for local movie fans hoping to have a star encounter. It’s still unclear if any scenes involving Hamill and/or Astin were to be filmed locally.
