WCAU TV reports inspectors on February 28 found mouse droppings in the kitchen's preparation and serving areas and behind a dishwasher. Dead mice were also discovered in traps.

The "unsatisfactory" rating forced the school to close the cafeteria for a day. The situation was cleaned up and the facility reopened. Students tell WCAU TV that they were never informed about the inspection.

It's not the first time the school has failed a health inspection; the station reports mouse droppings were discovered in the cafeteria in both 2011 and 2012.
