A registered sex offender from Bayville has been arrested after reportedly sexually assaulting a teenager during a driving lesson.

According to NBC10, The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says Jason Walsh, 42, knew the 16-year-old girl.

Walsh is required to wear a GPS tracking device as a Tier 3 Megan's Law registrant. Police say they used that information to determine Walsh was at the location during the time and day where the girl reported the alleged incident took place.

Walsh is held on $150,000 bail.
