Police in Vineland say a man from Pennsylvania was shot multiple times and killed inside a motel room early Tuesday morning.

According to a press release, Vineland officers responded to the Wingate Inn on West Landis Avenue around 5:15 Tuesday morning in regards to a possible unconscious person. When they arrived they found a person who was later identified as 33-year-old Ivan Strayer II of Altoona, PA, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Following an investigation, police arrested Larry John Pulcine, Jr., of Duncansville, PA. Officers say the victim and the suspect were acquainted with each other through their employment with a company that was doing work in the area.

The Daily Journal reports Pulcine was charged with murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. According to the arrest warrant, Pulcine shot Strayer in the chest. Bail was set at $750,000.
