Pedestrian Killed on White Horse Pike in Absecon

A Camden Country man was killed after being hit by a minivan on the White Horse Pike in Absecon Thursday.

Not many details have been released, but Absecon Police say 42-year-old Emilio Portillo-Sanchez of Lindenwold was struck by a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country van on the westbound side of the White Horse Pike Thursday.

The incident is being investigated by Absecon Police with assistance from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Witnesses to the crash are asked to call police at (609) 641-0667.
