Police in Pennsylvania say a missing 16-year-old woman, who was last seen over a month ago, may be in the greater Ocean City area.

The Telford Borough Police Department says Leanna Nevaeh Godshall was last seen on the afternoon of Friday, May 21st.

Godshall is described as a white female, 5' 4" tall, and about 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. Authorities say she was wearing jeans and a black t-shirt when she disappeared.

According to WFMZ-TV, two days after she was reported missing, her parents received a call from the National Runaway Hotline. In that call, they learned she was safe but no further information was available.

Police believe she is possibly being aided or helped by adults, which would be considered a crime.

Shortly after her disappearance, officials with the Telford Police Department told northpennnow.com, "She’s a young girl who is out there on her own, and that’s not a good situation for her to be in."

Published reports did not indicate specifically why police believe Godshall is in or near Ocean City.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Godshall is asked to contact the Telford Borough Police Department at (215) 723-4858.
