I've been excited about this for a long time!!  This afternoon (EST), in San Francisco, Apple introduced the iPhone 5. The latest version of the best-selling smartphone has been highly anticipated ever since the somewhat disappointing release of the previous iteration, the iPhone 4s.

Apple CEO Tim Cook will likely introduce the iPhone 5 today at a press conference which begins at 1 PM EST.  Apple's press conferences have become somewhat of a cult following in the last years.  I will be following it live, because, ya know, I'm a dork like that.

It seems the world has been anticipating the release of the new iPhone 5.
